Catherine Lang
PGY5 (Chief Resident)Biography: Catherine is originally from Toronto, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Queen's University in Kingston. She then worked doing medical research at the University of Toronto before attending medical school in Ireland at the University of Limerick. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Western University and now is part of the fellowship program in Infectious Disease. Her work interests include health equity, medical education and quality improvement. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, tending to her plants and sharing a good charcuterie board with friends.
Melissa Fowler
PGY5Biography: Melissa obtained a B.Sc. in biochemistry from the University of Victoria, followed by a degree in Medicine from the University of British Columbia, before completing training in Internal Medicine at McGill University. Her early research experience includes protein biochemistry and X-ray crystallography managing a research laboratory at the University of Victoria. Her more recent research has been in the field of Transplant Infectious Diseases. When she is not in the hospital, she enjoys spending her time rock climbing and downhill skiing.
Arjun Sharma
PGY5Biography: Dr. Arjun Sharma is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases (Department of Medicine). He has been conferred degrees in Anatomy and Cell Biology (B.Sc., McGill University), Medicine (M.D., University of Toronto) and completed his Core Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto.
